Springfield Deer Farm was established in 1991.

We farm 500-600 deer naturally, we do not use chemicals, drenches, antibiotics or growth hormones.

We graze the stock on pasture, supplemented by silage, hay & tree lucerne (Tagasaste) grown on the property. We concentrate on taste rather than size.

We have a kitchen/bakery/smallgoods premises established in 1995, inspected and licensed annually by Meander Valley Council.

Our abattoir, licensed by the DPIWE, (TAS S57) opened in September, 2001. We kill on a weekly basis processing 400-500 deer annually.

We can supply a complete range of products, we will manufacture any product you may require, e.g. spring rolls, pies, kranskies, salami, ham, burgers, pepper roll, pastrami, etc.

Please contact us if you require any products not on our price list we are open to suggestions. Depending on products in stock we  can give you a taste test of salami, ham, etc.

We supply fresh venison and venison smallgoods direct to various restaurants and delicatessens in Tasmania.

Products can also be sold direct at farmgate & at Deloraine Market 1st Sat each month 9am - 1pm or email/ phone us, we deliver weekly at no cost to Launceston.
